LITTER cards
The original 1976 CONSERVATION game had a few pieces of blue crepe paper to represent litter.
You could make your own things to represent litter or you can download and print these cards.
When you land on MAY PICK UP LITTER, you pick up one of these cards ( or your own item to represent litter) and then you try to land on Be a Tidy Kiwi so you can put your litter in the bin.
Remember to use your I CARE cards to help you land on the Be a Tidy Kiwi tile if you have a LITTER card.
You return your litter card to the pack each time you land on Be a Tidy Kiwi (or Do the Right Thing, use the right bin, in the EARTHCARE game) and collect a blue token worth 5 points, so you rarely run out. If you do, now you can print more!
Recommended: 12 LITTER cards per game
3 x cups and lids
3 x sauce sachets and soy fish
3 x cigarette butts (the number one littered item in the world, still!)
3 x plastic cutlery and straws (now banned in many places)
Ideally you will print these on 100% recycled card eg 200gsm, double-sided and colour, then cut them out and recycle or compost your paper/cardboard scraps.
