MATERIALS TO RECYCLE cards

Everything we have comes from the earth.  We need to keep using resources that we have mined (minerals, sand for glass) or grown (trees for paper and cardboard) and manufactured (glass and metals). Recycling glass and metals is 'above ground mining'. Recycling paper saves trees.
 
You can use real items for materials in your game eg 2 pieces of smooth ocean glass or glass beads, 2 coins or bottle caps for metal and cut up an old cereal box from the recycling for 'paper' OR you can draw your own pictures on scrap card OR you can print these cards.
 
One sheet has more than enough cards for one game. We usually only pack 2 glass, 2 metal and 2 paper in the pre-packed EARTHCARE games. You return your MATERIALS/cards to the pack and collect a red token worth 20 points, when you land on RECYCLE GLASS/ METAL or PAPER and you have the corresponding material to recycle, so you rarely run out. If you do, now you can print more!
 
Ideally, if printing, you will print these on 100% recycled card eg 200gsm, double-sided and colour, then cut them out and recycle or compost your paper/cardboard scraps.
